The second leg of the Regional Durban Business Fair (DBF) is said to offer a massive growth for local companies. The Inner West Region Durban Business Fair will take place from December 6 to 8 at the Anderson Sports Ground (next to Lahee Park), Pinetown.
Last month’s Regional Durban Business Fair had a huge impact on businesses. Exhibitors from the South Region and surrounding areas that showcased at the DBF at the KwaMnyandu Shopping Centre said they had a positive impact.
Mr Muzi Xaba, founder of ThunaPoint, a mobile app that helps people store grave site details, said the experience surpassed his expectations.
“We met numerous potential clients and gained massive marketing exposure. The exhibition created a buzz for my company, and only good things have come from it. I would encourage small and medium enterprises to explore these opportunities,” he said.
Mr John Morley of Business Team, which helps individuals develop home-based businesses, said the DBF has become an invaluable platform for business owners.
“We’ve been showcasing at the Durban Business Fair for the past 14 years. At the South DBF, we received 57 applications that we’re currently working on. This fair is the best platform to get your products and services out there. It’s a must for any entrepreneur,” said Mr Morley.
Ms Jennet Lipota from Burnham House Bed & Breakfast also agreed that the South DBF provided incredible exposure, including media interviews.
“The extensive marketing of our business led to new clients booking with us. We are definitely looking forward to the next one,” she said.
With so many success stories, businesses are encouraged to seize the opportunity to showcase their products, increase sales, network with industry leaders, and unlock exciting growth opportunities. Registration is open until November 22.
