The entire children’s portfolio has reduced its sugar content by 25% and has been fortified with nutrients that help build a strong immune system. Furthermore, the kids’ cereals are a source of seven B vitamins and are high in fibre and energy.
Kellanova continues to advocate for the consumption of breakfast as part of a balanced diet. It is a public health priority that it achieved through collaborations with industry experts, health organizations, and policymakers. Access to nutritious breakfast options has also been enhanced through partnerships and retail initiatives.
At the centre of Kellanova’s business is breakfast cereals which are crucial in the South African diet. Scientific research and global health organisations, including the World Health Organization (WHO), identify breakfast as a vital part of balanced nutrition and cognitive function. The range of cereals on offer from Kellogg’s are a great breakfast choice for the family, especially when consumed with milk, as they contribute significantly to daily carbohydrate, protein, fibre, and calcium intake.
