The family of Malcolm Xolani Chili, in conjunction with the Justice for Xolani Campaign, is offering a R100 000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in his murder.
They have also enlisted the assistance of private investigator Brad Nathanson to help find Mr Chili’s killer.
Malcolm Xolani Chili, affectionately known as Flex, was killed on February 13 in New Germany, when he was shot at 16 times while returning home from work.
His family are offering the reward in honour of Mr Chili, who they described as not just a man but a symbol of strength and resilience.
“This reward is contingent upon the arrest and conviction of the responsible individual(s). Your identity will be protected and kept confidential. Please provide truthful and accurate information to aid in the investigation. Even the smallest detail is crucial,” read the press statement released by the family.
The statement describes Mr Chili’s journey as one that was marked by triumphs, challenges, and unwavering determination.
He pursued his education at Cato Manor Technical College, Swinton Technical College, and Durban University of Technology, specialising in Motor Mechanics Engineering.
He was a principal engineer at MAXE (Pty) Ltd, a devoted husband, and a loving father to his three children. His hobbies ranged from spinning cars to fishing and cooking.
