The Crocworld Conservation Centre in Scottburgh celebrated the 123rd birthday of its resident celebrity croc, Henry, at the weekend.
Henry, recognised as the oldest known Nile crocodile in captivity, was the star of the show as visitors gathered to witness the grand festivities.
The reptile chomped down a sumptuous serving of juicy meat while his party guests enjoyed complimentary cupcakes.
Guests also had a chance to meet Colgate, the facility’s second-oldest and second-largest Nile crocodile, aged 90.
The celebration unfolded against the backdrop of Crocworld’s ongoing holiday programme, which includes daily feedings and demonstrations, which runs until January 17, 2024.
