The National Prosecution Authority (NPA) has confirmed that the Manzini Magistrate’s Court in Eswatini has granted South Africa’s request for the extradition of two suspects alleged to be involved in the killing of Kiernan Forbes (AKA) and Tebello Motsoane (TIBZ).
Siyabonga Gezani Ndimande and Malusi Dave Ndimande will have 15 court days to appeal the decision.
Natasha Ramkisson-Kara, regional spokesperson for the NPA, said should they not appeal within the 15-court day period, then the record of the proceedings will be transmitted to the Prime Minister of Eswatini to decide on the surrender of the respondents to South Africa. Following the Prime Minister’s decision to surrender, Interpol Eswatini and Interpol South Africa will decide on a date of handover.
In February 2023, AKA and TIBZ, were shot and killed outside Wish Restaurant in Florida Road, in the Durban CBD.
