Sibaya Casino and Entertainment Kingdom extended a helping hand to 500 children from the Blackburn community by donating school supplies valued at R125 000.
Children between the ages of three and 15 were given a branded school bag, a stationery pack, a juice bottle, and a lunch box.
Fadeya Ebrahim, the project co-ordinator for Cornubia Integrated Human Settlement Development, described Sibaya as “superstars” in community support.
Virath Gobrie, the general manager of Sibaya Casino, expressed his delight at being able to contribute to the surrounding community.
“Education is an investment in the future of our youth, and this stationery helps these children with tools they need to showcase their true potential,” he said
