The Soil will perform at the Playhouse Opera Theatre in Durban on Friday September 27, at 7pm, as part of their long-awaited nationwide tour.
The a capella group from Soweto, founded in 2004, has released a new album called Reimagined.
The internationally renowned trio, signed to Native Rhythms under exclusive license by UMG (SA), has evolved over the years and now consists of brothers Ntsika Fana Ngxanga, the lead composer and founder, dynamic beatboxer and co-founder Luphindo Ngxanga and features the new singer and songwriter Theo ‘Songstress’ Matshoba.
Ntsika said he and his gifted musicians were excited about their upcoming performance.
“In this extraordinary moment, as the stars align, we deeply cherish the privilege of once again being entrusted to channel this exquisite body of work. Every ounce of our passion and soul has been poured into crafting this album, a testament to the profound spiritual journey we’ve undergone individually and as a collective during our hiatus,” said Ntsika.
