Veteran comedian, content creator and performer, Melanie Kisten, is creating drama – as usual. Ms Kisten has produced a brand new high-energy, comedy, dance drama called He Said, She Said, They Said which celebrates women “in their true beauty, shape and form with complete divine glory”, said Ms Kisten.
“The show is about a mother and her 40-year-old virgin son who live in a small town. What’s a small town without the gossip aunties who have all the tea on everyone’s business?” she said, giving a glimpse into what the show is about.
“In this town, a mother and her son navigate the complexities of their relationship while dealing with the influences of the gossip in society. The mother, struggling with her past decisions and trying to protect her son, finds herself entangled in the town’s gossip network.
“Meanwhile, her son grapples with his own identity and desires, often caught between loyalty to his mother, his love life and the allure of the envious gossip aunties’ tantalising stories. As secrets unravel and tensions rise, the duo must confront the consequences of their actions and decide what truly matters in their lives.”
He said, She said, They Said spirals into total chaos – a real twisted comedy which is the perfect recipe for disaster in this small town, added Ms Kisten.
The show will be staged on Saturday August 10 at the playTsogo Globe, Suncoast Casino, Durban at 8pm. Tickets, priced from R150, are available via Ticketpro.
