Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff has died.
The former “Baywatch” actress - who had daughters Hayley and Taylor with ex-husband David Hasselhoff - was pronounced dead at her home in California on Wednesday, March 6 at the age of 61 after reportedly taking her own life.
Law enforcement sources told “TMZ” that family members wanted to check on the actress out of concern after not hearing from her and medics were called on a report of an unconscious female shortly after 10pm.
She was pronounced dead at the scene with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. According to the outlet, she didn't leave a note.
Hasselhof, who was married to the actress from 1989 to 2006 and tied the knot with Hayley Roberts in 2018, said he was "deeply saddened" by the news.
He told “TMZ” in a statement: “Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”
Bach-Hasselhoff made her movie debut in 1983's “Rumblefish” and her TV roles included parts in “Sirens”,”'The Young and the Restless”, “The Fall Guy”, “TJ Hooker” and a 10-year stint alongside her then-husband in “Baywatch”.
Hasselhoff and Bach-Hasselhoff's divorce was acrimonious and they were still resolving issues about spousal support in 2017.
At that time, the 72-year-old actor requested the monthly sums he paid out to his ex-wife be reduced from $10,000 to zero but they ultimately agreed on $5,000 per month.
Hasselhoff had filed documents requesting an immediate end to his alimony payments, pointing out his ex-wife had shown "failure to make any efforts to become self supporting, contribute to her own support, or even make any efforts to gain job skills."
He also cited his own reduced income, which previously saw the payments reduced from $21,000 a month.
However, the “Viper” actress later hit back and in her legal documents argued she had made "good faith and reasonable efforts" to secure work as an actress, but given her age, "the current market for actresses" and the time she took out to raise her family, hadn't been successful.
She argued that Hasselhof still makes around $1 million a year, whereas her prime earning years were spent raising their daughters and taking care of their home so the “Knightrider” star could pursue his own career.
Her legal documents also argued that her ex-husband had failed to give her $1 million to balance the separation of their assets when they divorced, as she got $325,000 from their house, whereas he kept the home, a boat, jetskis, and two trusts with extensive assets.
Meanwhile, Bach-Hasselhoff shared a hauntingly optimistic final message with her followers just hours before her death by suicide at her Hollywood Hills home.
She posted a New Year's Eve video on Instagram capturing a serene moment with her grandchild London.
Her footage began with a snapshot of her standing before a Christmas tree, then cut to a joyful video of her grandchild.
She captioned the post: “Happy New Year, everyone! As we step into 2025, my heart is full of gratitude, especially for my precious grandbaby, London.
“Watching her grow and seeing her smile light up my world is truly the greatest blessing.”
She also expressed hope for the future, adding in her caption: “My wish for all of you this year is health, happiness, and an abundance of love.”
The actress ended with the positive and forward-looking statement: “May 2025 be filled with beautiful moments, laughter, and all the blessings your hearts can hold. Here’s to a year of making cherished memories, spreading joy, and embracing every precious moment!”
